Wheat Germ Muffins

1 cup brown sugar
1 cup all-purpose white flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 egg
1/4 cup soft butter
1 cup buttermilk
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup raisins


1. Heat oven to 400 degress; grease muffin tins
2. Bowl One: combine 1 cup brown sugar, 1/4 cup soft butter
3. Bowl Two: combine 1 cup all-purpose white flour, 2 teaspoons baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon salt
4. Bowl Three: combine 1 cup buttermilk, 1 egg, 1 teaspoon baking soda. Add 1 cup wheat germ and 1 cup raisins, stirring as little as possible
5. Fill pie crusts with egg mixture and bake for 50 minutes at 350 degrees. The quiche is finished when a knife comes out clean from the center.
