With Alaska Yacht Charters on the Alaskan Story you will see Alaskan Brown Bears (“Grizzlies”) in their natural habitat and spawning salmon so numerous you won’t be able to see the bottom of the river. With us, you will see Humpback Whales, Orcas, dolphins, seals, sea lions  and icebergs the size of houses – all in total comfort and safety. When you cruise with us on the Alaskan Story, you will dine on fresh salmon, halibut, crab and shrimp. You can also catch them, if you like.

On our beautiful Westport motor/yacht your week with us will be tailored specifically to your interests. You can choose your activities daily. You can choose whether you want to spend more time ashore hiking or want to spend more time on the Alaskan Story in the protected passages of Alaska looking for marine wildlife. Geoff your captain and Debbie your chef have been guiding boat charters in Alaska for 33 years. Whatever your primary interest may be, they will know how to fulfill them.

Alaska Yacht Charters has all of the permits required to provide you with access to Alaska’s otherwise restricted-entry federal and state lands. The Alaskan Story is one of only a few ships of her class to have permits to cruise in Glacier Bay, the crown jewel of the National Park system, throughout the summer. We have been cruising Glacier Bay National Park for over 15 years and we are proud to announce that this year our permit has been renewed for another 10 year period.
